Sophia Minkah-Premo Biography

Sophia Minkah-Premo is a legally trained development consultant and program manager with expertise in law, gender justice, public policy, and social impact. She holds an LLM in Business Law from the University of Law (UK) and has an academic background in Gender, Race, Sexuality, and Social Justice from the University of British Columbia.

Sophia has contributed to major national policy initiatives in Ghana and advanced anti-racism and multicultural policy reforms in Canada through community-based research and policy analysis. Beyond policy work, she has supported academic and legal research initiatives and brings strong experience in program management.

A registered mediator and member of the Chartered Institute of Mediators and  Charteredd institute of Arbitrators , Sophia is also certified in Agile Project Management, Compliance, and Risk Management. Guided by a decolonial feminist approach, she is deeply committed to designing equitable programs and policies that dismantle systemic barriers and empower communities.
